Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice Steele to Retire

Chief Justice Myron Steele of the Delaware Supreme Court has announced his retirement, effective November 30.  All of us at Business Law Basics wish the Chief Justice well in his retirement, about which he is apparently quite excited.

During his tenure on the Court, Chief Justice Steele has been a tireless promoter of understanding regarding Delaware law and the balance that Delaware courts strike between the interests of corporate management and stakeholders.  In honor of his retirement, Francis Pileggi has re-posted a 2009 interview in which the Chief Justice mused about, among other things, his role as an "ambassador" for the Delaware legal community.  The interview can be found here.
