Competing with BigLaw with Technology: Address by Melanie Heller to the Clio Cloud Conference

Small firms have always struggled to compete with large firms, who have historically enjoyed greater access to staff support and other resources.  In recent years, technology has begun to close the gap in many areas, making it more feasible for smaller firms to provide legal services efficiently.

Melanie Heller, Vice-President and General Manager of Bloomberg Law, addressed the 2016 Clio Cloud Conference on the topic of "Leveraging Tech to Compete with BigLaw." After her presentation, she was interviewed by Joe Patrice of Above the Law on, inter alia, the central theme of her talk. The audio of the Patrice interview can be found here: "Competing with BigLaw."
