Berger Harris Supports Local Non-Profits

Berger Harris has made a contribution to Albert Einstein Academy‘s “Pi-Day Challenge”.  The campaign, which runs for 24 hours beginning at 6 p.m. on March 13, 2017,  is supported by a group of generous donors who are matching all contributions made by a factor of 3.14, up to a maximum of $100,000.

Albert Einstein Academy is a Jewish day school in Wilmington, Delaware. For over 40 years, the school has served the community as the only private school in Delaware to offer a fully immersive dual-language program.

 

Berger Harris is a co-sponsor of the 24th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Society Breakfast on March 17, 2017. The Breakfast is held each year by the St. Patrick’s Day Society, an all-volunteer group.  Its purpose is to raise funds for The Saint Patrick’s Center, a non-profit organization in Wilmington’s East Side dedicated to serving hot meals as well as emergency groceries, clothing, and other amenities for Wilmington’s disadvantaged and elderly citizens. Berger Harris partner Mike McDermott is a member of the Society and chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors.

Berger Harris is committed to community service. Jack Harris, Brian Gottesman, David Anthony, Suzanne Holly, and Chris Messa all serve as attorney guardians ad litem for the Office of the Child Advocate, Michelle Quinn provides estate planning services through Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, Brian Gottesman serves on the Board of Trustees of Albert Einstein Academy, and Buddy Berger provides pro-bono legal services to the Girl Scouts and other nonprofit organizations.
